Description For Data Engineer, Content Analysis & Strategy (CAST)

Amazon Music is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Content Analysis & Strategy Team (CAST) within the DISCO (Data, Insights, Science & Optimization) organization. This role focuses on managing and analyzing massive datasets that drive music customer behaviors and business insights.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data technologies and AWS services, handling billions of daily events and petabyte-scale data.   • Managing SQL-based pipelines and Redshift cluster maintenance

  • Supporting business intelligence initiatives and maintaining data access protocols

  • 1+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g., Python, KornShell, Scala)
