Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Engineer to join their US Federal Professional Services team, working directly with US intelligence community agencies. This role combines technical expertise in data engineering with mission-critical work for national security customers.

The position requires designing and implementing sophisticated data architectures and large-scale data integration services. You'll work with the AWS Big Data stack, including technologies like Python, Redshift, QuickSight, Glue/Lake Formation, EMR/Spark, and Athena. The role demands both technical excellence and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing data warehouse/data lake infrastructure, implementing real-time and batch data ingestion routines, and operating high-performance data storage solutions.
