AWS Professional Services is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our consulting team in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you'll work directly with AWS customers to transform their data infrastructure and applications using AWS's comprehensive cloud services. You'll be responsible for delivering technical guidance, leading POC projects, and conducting enterprise assessments while focusing on security, performance, and operational excellence.

As a Data Engineer, you'll collaborate with diverse customers and partners, providing expertise in AWS services and data platforms. The role requires a strong foundation in IT implementation and programming, particularly in languages like Python, Java, or Go. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in cloud computing technologies and AWS services such as EC2, RDS, and S3.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of IT experience and 5+ years of programming expertise, along with excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.   • Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
