Amazon Music is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Metrics and Data Platform team. This role is crucial in enabling Amazon Music's data-driven decision making by managing behavioral and operational metrics. The position involves working with a scalable data platform supporting Amazon Music's growth, collaborating with various teams to accelerate data-driven innovation.
As a Data Engineer, you'll drive engineering and operational projects, work with Product teams to address customer pain points, and implement solutions for key business datasets. You'll be responsible for modeling and building extensible datasets used by over 50 internal customers, directly informing leadership decisions on customer engagement, determining music label payments, and driving product improvements.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented data engineer with strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
