Description For Data Engineer II, Monetization Product and Engineering

AWS Commerce Platform (CP) is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team in building cutting-edge, highly scalable data platforms. This role is crucial in supporting AWS's rapid growth and tackles some of the world's most challenging scalability and distributed computing problems, processing trillions of events monthly.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing data architecture and tools for self-service analytics
  • Supporting CP BI and operational analytics
  • Building end-to-end data engineering solutions
  • Managing AWS resources including Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and MWAA
  • Creating robust ETL pipelines using SQL, Python/Java, and Spark

You'll work in an environment that processes $36+ billion worth of bills annually, collaborating with BI engineers, software developers, and product managers to solve unique business challenges. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and the opportunity to impact strategic decision-making.
