ARCADE team at Amazon is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Analytics team supporting MCF and BwP business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge AWS big data technologies and solve complex data challenges. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure solutions, working with various data sources, and building efficient data pipelines.
The position involves working with advanced AWS technologies including EMR, Glue, Redshift/Spectrum, and Athena. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement analytics algorithms and create unified data models. The role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to work effectively with business owners and technical leaders.

The compensation is competitive, ranging from $91,200 to $185,000 based on location and experience, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on bonuses.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer, MCF
- Design, implement, and support data warehouse/data lake infrastructure using AWS bigdata stack
- Develop and manage ETLs to source data from various Santos domain and SDO teams
- Creation and support of real-time data pipelines
- Collaborate with Engineering teams and Product/Finance Managers/Analysts
- Build scalable and secure data infrastructure
- Empower technical and non-technical customers to drive their own analytics
- Work closely with team members to drive real-time model implementations
- Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically
- Partner/collaborate across teams/roles to deliver results
- Mentor other engineers and help grow the team
Requirements For Data Engineer, MCF
- 1+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with one or more query language (SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting language (Python, KornShell)
