Data Engineer, Platform Engineering & Services

Amazon is seeking an outstanding Data Engineer to join their Platform Engineering & Services team. The role involves working with one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments, maintaining large data marts, and developing Business Intelligence reporting and dashboarding solutions used by thousands of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, creating, and managing extremely large datasets
• Developing and defining key business questions with business owners
• Building data sets to answer critical business questions
• Implementing stable, scalable, low-cost solutions for data flow from production systems to data warehouse and end-user applications
• Working with business customers to understand requirements and implement reporting solutions

• Deep expertise in data warehouse design and management

• Ability to bring datasets together to answer business questions and drive change
