The Device, Digital & Alexa Support (D2AS) team at Amazon is seeking a Data Scientist to revolutionize customer service experiences. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive meaningful improvements in customer support. You'll lead modeling projects, develop data-driven insights, and design statistical experiments to optimize product decisions. The role involves working with various data sources and technologies, including Redshift, SQL Server, Oracle DW, and Salesforce. Responsibilities For Data Scientist, Customer Service

  • Lead modeling projects to enhance customer service experience
  • Design and run experiments, research new algorithms to improve CX analytics
  • Research and implement machine learning algorithms for business needs
  • Partner with scientists, engineers and product leaders to solve business problems
  • Collaborate with BI/Data Engineer teams for data collection and refinement
  • Manipulate/mine data from databases (Redshift, SQL Server, Oracle DW, Salesforce)
  • Provide analytical network support to improve quality

Requirements For Data Scientist, Customer Service

  • 2+ years of data scientist experience
  • 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) experience
  • 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis experience
  • Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
  • Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language (preferred)
