Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join their ProServe Shared Delivery Team. This role combines technical leadership with strategic business management, requiring candidates to build and lead teams of delivery consultants while driving enterprise cloud adoption initiatives.

The position demands a unique blend of technical expertise in cloud computing and strong business acumen. You'll be responsible for managing customer relationships at the executive level, overseeing project deliveries, and ensuring team performance meets AWS's high standards. The role involves developing innovative IT strategies, managing practice P&L, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

As a DPM, you'll work at the intersection of technology and business, translating complex technical concepts into tangible business value for customers. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including AWS Global Sales teams, partners, and internal teams, while building and maintaining C-level client relationships.

Requirements For Delivery Practice Manager - Migrations, AWS Professional Services

Linux
  • 8+ years in IT and/or Management Consulting, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
  • Experience managing IT transformation projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing, adoption strategy, transition challenges
  • Experience managing a consulting practice or teams responsible for KRAs
