Deployment & Ramp-up Engineer, Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience

Amazon is seeking an innovative Operations Engineer to join their Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization. This role is at the intersection of fulfillment technology and robotics, focusing on transforming standalone work-cells into integrated solutions. The position involves managing large-scale fulfillment technology and robotics projects across European facilities.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 90%) across Europe, combining project management with hands-on technical implementation. You'll work closely with hardware engineering, technical program managers, and internal customers to ensure successful product deployment and performance optimization. The position offers unique opportunities to influence product development from customer insights through the entire lifecycle.

As part of the CX team within Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging, you'll work across three key pillars: Quality Assurance, Deployment & Ramp-up, and Support. The role involves significant responsibility for project planning, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll be expected to build strong relationships with stakeholders and translate customer needs into actionable engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, particularly in automated material handling equipment, along with proven project management experience.
