Description For Design Verification Engineer

Project Kuiper, an ambitious Amazon initiative, is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to join their satellite communications team. This role is crucial in developing the digital chip SOCs that will power a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide.

As a Design Verification Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of groundbreaking wireless technology, working with minimal legacy constraints. The position involves implementing sophisticated verification environments, developing test plans, and ensuring the quality of ASIC implementations. You'll collaborate with design and communication systems teams, using advanced tools and methodologies including UVM, SystemC, and DPI-C.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $104,000 to $212,200 per year, depending on location and experience. Responsibilities For Design Verification Engineer

  • Implement state of the art verification environment to test RTL against reference Matlab/C models
  • Develop detailed test plans and write tests, run regressions, collect coverage matrices
  • Participate in validation of ASIC implementations in Verilog/SystemVerilog
  • Run formal verification of complex blocks
  • Work with design and communication systems team on system level verification using UVM, SystemC and DPI-C
  • Develop automated environment for running regressions

Requirements For Design Verification Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering or Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years in verification preferably in communication systems
  • 1+ years in UVM, C, and scripting
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws
