Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer III, Amazon Pay

  • Maintain SLAs through implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting
  • Setup and configure monitors to prevent prolonged outages
  • Write and review support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries
  • Work across multiple teams to resolve issues
  • Drive improvements across teams, services, and platforms
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve complex technical challenges
  • Improve customer experience by resolving issues completely and timely

Requirements For DevOps Engineer III, Amazon Pay

  • 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
  • Experience scripting in modern programming languages
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
