Description For Due Diligence Manager, APJC Risk & Resiliency

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Due Diligence Manager for APJC Risk & Resiliency to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's cloud operations, supporting data centers, servers, storage, and networking equipment. The position involves leading due diligence assessments, partnering with stakeholders across APAC to shape AWS's infrastructure growth and risk management.

The ideal candidate will guide AWS facilities expansion in new and existing regions through site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments. They will be responsible for preliminary multidisciplinary design, assessing various aspects including real estate, engineering, construction, policy, and planning considerations. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing risks, delivering site selection analysis, managing projects to successful resolution, and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants. The position involves up to 25% travel across APAC and requires proficiency in technical tools and standards.

Responsibilities For Due Diligence Manager, APJC Risk & Resiliency

  • Guide the expansion of AWS facilities and services in new and existing regions across APAC
  • Deliver site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments
  • Lead due diligence partnering with stakeholders across the APAC organization
  • Responsible for preliminary multidisciplinary design
  • Assess and draw conclusions from real estate, engineering, construction, policy, planning considerations
  • Review and prioritize risk-based mitigation recommendations
  • Coordinate internal teams and manage external consultants
  • Up to 25% travel including international destinations across APAC
  • Creation in tool development (Salesforce or GIS)

Requirements For Due Diligence Manager, APJC Risk & Resiliency

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Multidisciplinary concept/preliminary design experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, sketch up and MS Office Suite
  • Experience in a technical field (electrical, mechanical, Architectural)
  • Solid understanding of local standards and council design standards
