Electrical Colo Regional Engineer, Colocation Regional Engineering (CRE)

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We're looking for an Electrical Colo Regional Engineer in Sydney to provide full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You'll be the 'go to' engineering resource for your region, using your subject matter expertise to engage with diverse teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing designs for new Data Centers
• Acting as resident engineer during construction projects
• Troubleshooting and conducting Root Cause Analysis
• Supporting operational issues and providing technical support
• Leading engineering site audits within leased or colo data centers

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities
• Strong engineering judgment and attention to detail
• Experience managing engineering projects and consultants
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/design related to data centers
