Electrical Design Engineer, APAC Data Center Design Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their world-class engineering team leading the electrical design of Data Centers across the rapidly expanding Asia Pacific (APAC) portfolio. This role is crucial in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure, which supports all AWS data centers and ensures continuous customer access to cloud innovations.

The position requires a skilled professional with hands-on electrical design experience throughout the project lifecycle, from concept through construction and commissioning. You'll work with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, contributing to global knowledge and driving continuous improvement at scale.

As an Electrical Engineer at AWS, you'll be responsible for leading data center electrical designs, working with local utilities, designing critical equipment infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with regional codes. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams and external partners, including manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with at least 3 years of experience in data center or mission-critical facility design. They should possess comprehensive understanding of APAC region code requirements and fundamental knowledge of critical MV and LV electrical equipment.
