Description For Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their global engineering team responsible for designing and innovating their expanding data center footprint. This role is crucial in keeping AWS's cloud infrastructure running smoothly and efficiently.

The position involves designing resilient, cost-effective electrical distribution systems for AWS data centers, with a focus on achieving world-class uptime for customers. As an Electrical Engineer at AWS, you'll work on multi-million dollar designs supporting various businesses and customers, while having the opportunity to drive change and define the systems that customers rely on.

The role requires working with internal teams, vendors, manufacturers, and local utilities to create comprehensive electrical designs that meet both quality and budgetary requirements. You'll be responsible for everything from site selection review through commissioning and turnover, including creating construction document sets and approving equipment submittals.
