AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Engineer to join their team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure.   • Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis for site/equipment failures
  • Support operational issues with training and procedure reviews
  • Own conceptual design for data center upgrades and design-solutions
  • Interface with internal teams to maintain consistency and reliability
  • Develop innovative solutions for AWS's data centers
  • Lead engineering audits including on-site visits
  • Act as resident engineer during new construction projects

Requirements For Electrical Engineer, Critical Infrastructure, Field Engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal transportation
  • Coursework in commercial/industrial power systems
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience using web-based software tools for calculation and data processing
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and budget
