Amazon Lab126, a subsidiary of Amazon.com founded in 2004, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their hardware team in Asia. As an Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of all aspects of EE hardware design, including circuit/board design and validation. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in low-power circuit design, system-level architecture, and various communication protocols, along with the ability to work with ODM/OEMs throughout the product development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of experience with a BSEE (or 5+ years with MSEE), demonstrating strong capabilities in system-level design, RF technologies integration, and robust design for ESD/EMI immunities. You'll work in a fast-paced, start-up like environment where innovation and attention to detail are crucial.

- Owner of all aspects of EE hardware design
- Circuit and board design and validation
- System bring-up, integration, and debug
- Partner with software teams to define and implement firmware
- Lead and drive design development from schematic to assembly
Requirements For Electrical Engineer, HW Asia Center
- MSEE with 5+ years experience or BSEE with 7+ years experience in consumer product design
- 2+ years experience leading and working with ODM/OEMs
- 5+ years experience with system-level design
- Knowledge of low-power circuit design, DC/DC converters, power management
- Knowledge of processor architecture and communications protocols
- Experience with RF technologies (WIFI, BT, GPS)
- Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout
- English and Mandarin language skills
- 30% travel required
