Description For ELM Project Manager, DBX (Design and Building Excellence)

The Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon is seeking an ELM (Early Life-cycle Manager) specialized in strengthening Base Building Qualification processes. This role supports construction phases, building equipment installation, and works with data to find root causes and generate improvements for launches and retrofits across Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects and initiatives, providing progress reports and KPIs
  • Leading installation and operation quality inspections and equipment commissioning
  • Driving continuous improvement for new buildings
  • Supporting construction and launch execution teams
  • Integrating RME policies into launch plans
  • Capturing lessons-learned and developing action plans
  • Specifying standards for new equipment
  • Understanding anticipated life cycle costs

The role requires up to 40% travel, both domestic and international. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in industrial, operations, manufacturing, or project engineering in a manufacturing environment, and a Bachelor's degree. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL, experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing, and a degree/Masters in Engineering or Project Management.

Requirements For ELM Project Manager, DBX (Design and Building Excellence)

  • Bachelor's degree
