Description For Embedded Flight Software Manager, Kuiper Guidance Navigation and Control & Propulsion

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As the Embedded Flight Software Manager, you'll lead the critical team responsible for designing and developing the software that controls Kuiper satellites from launch to re-entry.

In this role, you'll manage teams working on embedded real-time applications for spacecraft control and propulsion systems. You'll collaborate closely with Guidance and Control and Flight Dynamics teams, leading the development of essential software functions for orbital control.   • Lead software engineering team developing functions for controlling Kuiper satellite orbits
  • Develop and execute roadmap for GNC SW development

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams
  • 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
