AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an Energy Operations Manager to join their Energy Procurement Operations (EPO) team. This role is crucial in managing AWS's portfolio as the world's largest corporate buyer of renewables. The position involves overseeing energy supply contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing financial and operational performance. The ideal candidate will manage programs in an assigned region, working with stakeholders to analyze and improve portfolio performance.

The role offers an opportunity to work with AWS Infrastructure Services, which owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. You'll be part of a diverse team supporting AWS data centers' critical infrastructures, including power and cooling equipment. The position requires strong analytical skills, contract management experience, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities For Energy Operations Manager (APAC), EPO

  • Own the assigned portfolio of energy agreements and renewable power purchase agreements
  • Act as a subject matter expert on executed energy agreements in designated markets
  • Report and analyze performance in assigned portfolio
  • Support the management of the on-boarding process for new contracts
  • Implement EPO programs for contract management, financial performance and energy compliance
  • Plan and drive execution of initiatives to improve energy operations
  • Work collaboratively with other AWS and Amazon teams

Requirements For Energy Operations Manager (APAC), EPO

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required
  • 5 years of experience working in utility/energy industry in APAC
  • Experience in asset/contract management, settlements, market operations or similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in managing cross-functional projects, initiatives and teams
