This role is for an Engineering Operation Technician position within AWS data centers, focusing on maintaining critical infrastructure with 99.999% uptime requirements.
The position involves hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation, including work with diesel generators, switchboards, UPS systems, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, and building automation systems. You'll be part of a team that ensures the continuous operation of AWS data centers, working on a shift basis that may include nights and weekends.
As an EOT, you'll be responsible for both routine maintenance and emergency response, requiring technical expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems. The role demands attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while following strict safety protocols.
