Responsibilities For Engineering Operations Technician

  • Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
  • Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
  • Monitor performance of maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
  • Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment ensuring 99.999% up-time
  • On-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
  • Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
  • Assist with ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management creation

Requirements For Engineering Operations Technician

Linux
  • 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience, or data center or mission critical facilities experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to lift and move up to 39 pounds independently
  • Ability to work in shifts up to 12-hours that may rotate on a predefined schedule
  • Physical ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs
