Responsibilities For Engineering Operations Technician
- Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs
- Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
- Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
- Monitor performance of maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
- Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment ensuring 99.999% up-time
- On-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
- Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
- Assist with ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management creation
Requirements For Engineering Operations Technician
- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience, or data center or mission critical facilities experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Ability to lift and move up to 39 pounds independently
- Ability to work in shifts up to 12-hours that may rotate on a predefined schedule
- Physical ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs
