Engineering Operations Technician, Data Center Engineering Operations

Join AWS's Data Center Engineering Operations team as an Engineering Operations Technician, where you'll be part of Earth's most customer-centric company. You'll work with front-line responders supporting operations of some of the world's most powerful data centers. This role involves maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems in sophisticated, safe, and secure data centers.

As an EOT, you'll handle daily monitoring of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, ensuring 24/7 reliability. You'll work with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS), perform rack installations, and troubleshoot facility events. The role includes preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, and repair of various equipment including diesel generators, UPS units, cooling systems, and more.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. You'll join a diverse team of engineers and specialists working on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. The position requires physical capabilities including lifting, working on ladders, and various construction tasks. You'll work in rotating 12-hour shifts, possibly supporting multiple locations.
