As an Engineering Operations Technician II (EOT), you'll be part of the team that maintains and operates critical infrastructure systems, ensuring 99.999% uptime for the world's largest cloud computing portfolio. Responsibilities For Engineering Ops Technician, DCC Communities

  • Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
  • Drive projects with moderate complexity
  • Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings and facility management
  • Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers
  • Manage on-site contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
  • Perform maintenance and operations on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
  • Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment ensuring 99.999% uptime

Requirements For Engineering Ops Technician, DCC Communities

Linux
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 2+ years of electrical and/or mechanical experience OR data center experience
  • 2+ years of MS Office Suite experience
  • Ability to lift up to 39 pounds unassisted
  • Physical capabilities: walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crawling
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules
