Responsibilities For Environmental Engineer, AWS Environmental

  • Assess and support compliance with national and local environmental regulations
  • Support business growth through environmental due diligence reviews and permitting
  • Integrate with engineering, construction, and operations to drive environmentally responsible culture
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
  • Develop, analyze, and forecast environmental metrics
  • Support environmental audits for continuous improvement
  • Submit environmental reports to governmental agencies
  • Complete environmental investigations and regulatory reports
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions

Requirements For Environmental Engineer, AWS Environmental

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, geology, geography, biology, chemistry or related field
  • 4+ years of experience serving as an environmental technical resource, environmental consultant, environmental manager, program specialist, or program manager
  • Experience in environmental compliance, environmental auditing, environmental permitting/reporting, waste management
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems and ISO14001 standards
  • Broad knowledge of Australian environmental regulations and licensing requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of applications
