Description For Equipment Engineer

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is at the forefront of cloud innovation, managing crucial services like S3 and EC2. Within AWS UC, the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team focuses on specialized security solutions for cloud services. This role is specifically with Annapurna Labs, an AWS division developing revolutionary semiconductor platforms.

As an Equipment Engineer, you'll be integral to the hardware development team, supporting cutting-edge semiconductor platform development. Your responsibilities will span from providing technical support for lab equipment to designing electrical/mechanical solutions. You'll work with international vendors, particularly in the Far East, requiring occasional travel.

Responsibilities For Equipment Engineer

  • Provide technical support for the engineering test lab equipment (testers / handlers / TCU etc.)
  • Remotely support Annapurna Labs testing vendors in the Far East
  • Write technical procedures for the lab users
  • Provide technical training for the lab users
  • Provide electrical / mechanical designs for lab Jigs
  • Travel to Annapurna Labs vendors (3-4 BTs per year)

Requirements For Equipment Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to read mechanical / electrical drawings
