EU Safety Engineering Expert, Safety Engineering (EU & Rest of World)

Amazon's Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join their International Operations team. This critical role focuses on ensuring high safety standards across Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, and Delivery Stations outside North America. The position requires deep technical expertise in EU machinery safety regulations and engineering controls.

The role involves validating vendor-proposed safety solutions and collaborating with internal teams to implement compliant safety standards for equipment. The successful candidate will work extensively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Reliability, Maintenance, Operations, and Procurement, to deliver robust safety outcomes.

Key responsibilities include defining technical standards, supporting procurement processes, performing machinery inspections, and providing expert guidance on safety matters.
