Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) Engineer, AWS

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) Engineer to join their Data Centre Global Engineering Operations team. This role is crucial in managing AWS's 24x7 data centre infrastructure monitoring operations. The position involves overseeing the physical infrastructure of data centers and coordinating Large Scale Events (LSEs) and Critical Site Events (CSEs).

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data centre IT infrastructure and facilities infrastructure, providing essential support to onsite teams while ensuring optimal service levels. This role requires someone who can think innovatively and align the FOC with broader business objectives.

The position offers unique opportunities for growth and development, including a 6-12 month training period rotating through various AWS locations before permanent placement.
