Facility Operations Center Engineer

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role is within the Facility Operations Center (FOC) in Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL), focusing on 24x7 monitoring of data center physical infrastructure.

The position involves serving as a key facilitator for daily operations, emergency events, alarm correlation, and scheduled preventive/upgrade change management in India. You'll be responsible for ensuring customer experience meets reliability, availability, and SLA criteria through consistent monitoring and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring global data center Amazon facilities infrastructure platform in India
• Acting as Point of Contact for internal and external teams
• Contributing to outage post-mortem analysis
• Maintaining timely record updates
• Coordinating emergency recovery efforts
• Developing performance-enhancing tools
• Supporting 24x7 operations including weekends and holidays
