Description For Front End Engineer

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Front End Engineer to join their AWS Incident Tooling & Response team. This role focuses on building world-class user interfaces for internal customers, ensuring AWS maintains its position as the leading cloud platform globally.

The position involves working with cutting-edge cloud computing technology, developing high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and technologies. You'll be part of AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS), the team responsible for keeping the entire AWS global infrastructure running smoothly.

As a Front End Engineer, you'll:

  • Build systems to detect and mitigate operational issues before they impact customers
  • Work closely with major AWS product teams
  • Create next-generation Amazon internal customer experiences

Requirements For Front End Engineer

  • 3+ years experience in building web applications with frameworks
  • Proficiency in Java, C/C++/C# or another high-level programming language
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with common front-end technologies, such as React, Angular, Webpack, Babel, and Grunt
  • Experience of front-end test frameworks such as Jest with Enzyme, Mocha, Jasmine
  • A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and applications
