This role sits within AWS's Utility Computing (UC) organization, which is responsible for foundational services like S3 and EC2, along with continuous innovation in cloud services.

As a Front-End Engineer on the CloudWatch Logs team, you'll work on one of the world's largest logging services, building critical monitoring products that impact every AWS customer. The team focuses on creating highly scalable, durable, and reliable services for enterprise-scale logging, featuring machine-learning powered analytics and generative AI capabilities.

Your responsibilities will span the entire software lifecycle, from customer-focused design to implementation and operations. You'll collaborate with designers and product managers, mentor other developers, and ensure the creation of maintainable, high-quality code. The role includes on-call duties (one week every two months), with a strong focus on building fault-tolerant systems.
