Front-End Engineer II, RME - Central

The Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP) Development team within Global Reliability and Maintenance Engineering (RME) is seeking a Front-End Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and build world-class internal customer-facing interfaces for one of the world's largest RME enterprises.

The mission is to create innovative tools and solutions that enhance operational efficiency, elevate work quality, ensure safety, and facilitate efficient equipment management across various sites. You'll be working on solutions that empower the RME organization to drive strategic initiatives through data-driven decisions.

As a Front-End Engineer, you'll be responsible for the team's technical architecture and end-to-end code quality. Your work will involve developing new applications, enhancing existing platforms, and seamlessly integrating various Amazon and third-party tools. You'll own a portfolio of tools and technologies hosted on AWS infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, able to handle multiple priorities, and quickly adapt to new environments. You'll work closely with senior engineers, UX designers, and product managers to develop user-friendly experiences. The role requires strong technical skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React.
