Front End Engineer, Inclusive eXperiences and Technology (IXT)

As the Front-End Engineer for Born Inclusive at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in delivering tools and processes to embed inclusion and equity into everything Amazon creates. Born Inclusive is a new program aimed at providing tools, processes, and guidance to enable Amazon's product, engineering, user experience, and science teams to easily build inclusion into all their creations. This program will enhance the products used by Amazon's 1.5 million employees and hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.

In this strategic individual contributor role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Amazon to enable the delivery of transformative inclusive experiences. Your focus will be on providing Amazon's builders with processes and tools that make it effortless to build truly inclusive products. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant positive impact by shaping the future of inclusive experiences at Amazon.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning the front-end design and development of product features
• Building scalable, efficient, and differentiated customer experiences
• Delivering end-to-end software solutions at scale
• Working within a DevOps delivery model, from scoping requirements to launch
• Communicating with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements and describe software features

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of non-internship professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• 1+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
• Experience with common front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
