Front End Engineer, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an ambitious Amazon initiative deploying 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit to provide global broadband access. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing software applications and services for this advanced global telecom service.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and operating globally available distributed systems for managing and monitoring Kuiper's terrestrial devices. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and follow industry-best software engineering practices. The position involves collaborating with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to create exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include shaping product strategy, UI presentation, and feature development from ideation to implementation. You'll be tasked with designing highly functional and accessible user interfaces while ensuring compliance with Amazon's standards. The role requires partnership with device software, satellite, networking, and security engineering teams.

The team owns the development of architecture, solutions, and roadmap for managing the customer lifecycle for telecom services, including identity and account management, subscriber management, billing and payments, customer support tools, and analytics.

The compensation package is comprehensive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year based on location, plus equity, sign-on payments, and full benefits.
