As a Hardware Development Engineer in the Storage Hardware Engineering team, you'll be working on the next generation of Nitro SSD hardware platform - AWS's fastest growing vertically integrated NAND flash based storage solution.
The role offers a unique opportunity to impact AWS's storage infrastructure that serves over a million customers worldwide. You'll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of hardware design and development, from conception to production. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll drive product design, integration, qualification, and launch of Nitro SSD hardware.
This position requires deep technical expertise in storage solutions and hardware design, with opportunities to work on large-scale implementations that directly benefit AWS customers. You'll collaborate with Platform and Annapurna teams to shape long-term product roadmaps and work closely with supply chain and manufacturing partners to ensure quality and operational excellence.
The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $105,600 to $185,000 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments. You'll be part of a growing, fast-paced team distributed across Seattle, Cupertino, Denver, and Austin, building solutions used by EC2 and EBS to deliver high-performance, low-latency scalable storage.
