Responsibilities For HW Reliability Engineer, Hardware Reliability, Product Integrity

  • Define new test specifications and methodology based on mission profiles to assure product reliability
  • Identify and validate product risks via Design for Reliability mechanisms
  • Work with design teams to mitigate risks during development
  • Provide hands-on experimental design, execution, custom test development, and preventative maintenance strategies
  • Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms and risk assessment on products
  • Engage with cross-disciplinary staff and outside partners

Requirements For HW Reliability Engineer, Hardware Reliability, Product Integrity

  • 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience with prototyping and implementation
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred)
  • Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume (preferred)
