Hyperion Application Engineer, Financial Governance, Close & Consolidation

Amazon is seeking an experienced Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Consultant to join their Financial Governance team. This role combines technical expertise with financial systems knowledge, focusing on designing and implementing solutions for large-scale data processing and financial consolidation. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting global accounting and finance operations.

As an HFM Application Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining critical financial systems that process massive data sets, effectively eliminating thousands of manual work hours for global teams. You'll work with various accounting standards including USGAAP, IFRS, and local statutory GAAP, implementing complex business rules and ensuring smooth consolidation processes across multiple geographies.

The role requires deep expertise in financial systems, particularly Oracle Hyperion suite, including HFM, ODI, FDMEE, and Essbase. You'll be working with both BSO and ASO Essbase Accounting cubes, managing DRM Chart of Account hierarchies, and ensuring seamless integration between various financial systems. The position also involves scripting and automation using PLSQL, Shell, Batch, or Python.
