Innovation Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced Hardware Development Engineer to join their Innovation Engineering team. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge mechatronic products for Amazon's future Delivery Stations. The position combines robotics, engineering, and analytical skills to influence Amazon's last-mile automation roadmap.

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you'll work with a diverse team of experts on complex mechatronics products. Your responsibilities range from ideation to implementation, including writing specifications, conducting field studies, and managing projects. You'll collaborate with Robotics, Software Tech Teams, Process Engineering, Operations, and other departments to enhance the customer shopping experience.

The role offers a dynamic work environment where you'll prototype new technologies in the Innovation Center, work with vendors on automation concepts, and solve real-world challenges faced by associates. You'll use data and simulation to validate technology benefits and build business cases for new implementations.
