Responsibilities For IT Support Engineer
- Lead the local IT team and report to the IT Manager
- Administer, maintain and expand complex network infrastructure
- Manage IT infrastructure projects and coordinate with management
- Administer and expand client and server landscape
- Monitor IT infrastructure
- Manage user accounts and access rights in Microsoft Active Directory
- Coordinate external service providers for projects
- Provide second level support for client, server, network and telecommunication systems
- Perform IT on-call duty
- Plan and implement critical IT infrastructure changes
- Manage IT documentation and asset management
Requirements For IT Support Engineer
- Completed degree in IT or equivalent IT vocational training with relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of common network and internet protocols
- Experience in administering heterogeneous network environments with Windows and Linux
- Knowledge of IT project management methods and tools
- PC and server hardware expertise
- Experience in IT asset management and procurement
- Fluent in German and business-level English
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Valid driving license: Class B
