IT Support Engineer (m/w/d)

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) team in Dummerstorf, Germany. This role involves supporting end-user devices and IT infrastructure, assisting with network projects, proposing new processes to improve IT usage in Amazon logistics centers, and training and mentoring IT professionals. The position requires on-site work with occasional visits to other operational sites in Germany and potentially internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting end-user devices and IT infrastructure in the assigned building
• Assisting with major network projects, such as IT setups for new Amazon buildings
• Proposing new processes to improve IT usage in Amazon logistics centers
• Training and mentoring IT professionals

The ideal candidate will have:

• A completed degree in computer science or equivalent training
• Experience in administering heterogeneous networks with Microsoft Windows and Linux-based clients and servers
• Experience with network infrastructure, system integration, and working with third-party vendors
• Advanced English and German language skills (written and spoken)
• A valid driver's license

Preferred qualifications include:

• Additional industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, or Linux LPIC-1/LPIC-2)
• Experience with diagnostics and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment
• Experience with common network and internet protocols
• Experience in IT asset management and procurement or with WLAN
