Description For Lab Engineer, Kuiper

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious satellite initiative aimed at providing global broadband connectivity through a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites. As a Lab Engineer on the Kuiper Software Health Automation team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the infrastructure that ensures software quality for both ground and space operations.

The position combines hands-on technical work with strategic infrastructure planning. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining test fixtures, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring the lab environment remains highly available for development teams. This role requires a unique blend of hardware and software expertise, as you'll work with both physical equipment and software testing systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee due to export control laws
