Key responsibilities include managing test equipment inventory, troubleshooting complex technical issues, handling lab tickets, and working with prototype devices. Responsibilities For Lab Support Engineer, Ring Software/Firmware

  • Maintain Ring device labs, support spaces and equipment resources
  • Update lab infrastructure, equipment, and software configurations
  • Ensure availability of test equipment and parts
  • Monitor lab ticket queue, triage, troubleshoot and resolve incoming tickets
  • Generate service metrics using scripts and documentation
  • Work with prototype devices and debug connectivity
  • Image/Re-Image computers with Amazon and Non-Amazon Images
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software across Linux, Android, iOS and FireOS
  • Create technical documentation for operational excellence
  • Flash prototype devices to required software builds

Requirements For Lab Support Engineer, Ring Software/Firmware

Linux
  • 1+ years of software development or technical support experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
