Responsibilities For Language Engineer II, Alexa Customer Journeys

  • Collaborate with scientists and software engineers to help design APIs and evaluate performance of LLMs
  • Produce and manipulate different types of language data, analyze and provide efficient solutions
  • Design and lead data collection initiatives
  • Engineer prompts to guide generative AI
  • Automate operations and perform data analysis
  • Test and deploy changes to Alexa's language understanding codebase
  • Identify and solve production issues impacting Alexa customer experience
  • Own customer-facing machine learning and deterministic models
  • Use modeling tools to bootstrap and test new functionalities

Requirements For Language Engineer II, Alexa Customer Journeys

  • Experience in Python or another scripting languages
  • Experience in Java basics
