Description For Linux Systems Engineer II, AWS Operations Management (AWSOM)

AWS Managed Operations (MO) is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer II to join their innovative team established in April 2023. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with some of the largest software systems ever built. As part of the AWSOM team, you'll be responsible for improving the availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of AWS regions globally.

The position combines hands-on systems engineering with strategic long-term projects aimed at reducing operational toil. You'll be working within the Utility Computing (UC) organization, supporting crucial AWS services including S3, EC2, and various other cloud computing innovations. The role requires strong Linux expertise and experience with 24/7 production environments.
