Description For M365 - IT Application Dev Engineer, Kuiper Production Operations

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious low Earth orbit satellite broadband network initiative, designed to bridge the global digital divide. As an M365 IT Application Dev Engineer in the Kuiper Production Operations team, you'll be instrumental in configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft 365 productivity services for Kuiper Manufacturing and Government Solutions.

The role involves working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where you'll design and implement productivity applications using Infrastructure as Code. You'll be responsible for administering crucial M365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, and Voice while ensuring compliance with security protocols and least privilege access principles.

Daily activities include participating in morning standups, attending operations reviews, document reviews, and project meetings. You'll have dedicated engineering days for development, operations, and support tasks. The position offers an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world-class technical team and further develop your skills within one of their most innovative programs.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $104,300 to $185,000 per year depending on location, plus potential equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other benefits.

  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • Experience with PowerShell (preferred) or Python for automation
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to export control requirements
