Amazon's AGI Information team is seeking a passionate, talented, and inventive Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to lead the development of industry-leading systems. As part of our cutting-edge team, you will play a pivotal role in reinventing efficient AI solutions at scale. In this role, you will work alongside renowned researchers and engineers to enable our customers to seamlessly interact with content.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and building scalable infrastructure for training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models
• Developing tools for monitoring the performance of machine learning models at scale
• Creating lineage and artifact tracking infrastructure
• Designing reproducible ML Pipelines orchestrating various components for ML models
• Optimizing model performance, robustness, and efficiency through techniques like model compression, knowledge distillation, and hardware acceleration
• Championing engineering best practices within your group and beyond
• Producing clean, high-quality code, tests, and written documentation
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, sharing knowledge, and contributing to an innovative, collaborative culture

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorRT, ONNX, AWS Neuron, and accelerating deep learning models for GPU/CPU/Inferentia architectures
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including equity and a range of benefits. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on the geographic market and other factors.
