Description For Machine Learning Engineer, AWS OpenSearch

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

The AWS OpenSearch team is currently inviting front-end, back-end, or full-stack software developers to join us. If you wish to participate in building a distributed search and log analysis platform, and are eager to leverage artificial intelligence technology to transform how users manage data in the cloud and extract insights from vast datasets, while also looking to tackle various challenges alongside a talented group of colleagues in a rapidly evolving startup environment, we welcome you to submit your resume.

Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer, AWS OpenSearch

Java
Python
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
  • 3+ years of machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics techniques experience (preferred)
  • Ph.D in Machine Learning or related field or high quality publications (preferred)
  • Experience with Natural language processing and computer vision (preferred)
