Machine Learning Engineer II

The Shopping Core Foundations (SCF) team at Amazon is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer II to join a new team responsible for delivering core capabilities of a new shopping experience. This role requires deep technical knowledge, high levels of customer obsession, and comfort with ambiguity.

As a seasoned machine learning engineer, you will:

• Participate in all aspects of the software development process
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams on design
• Implement designs in a scalable and extensible way
• Work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Science teams
• Have the freedom to experiment, improve, invent, and innovate for customers
• Partner with science teams innovating in the use of large language models for new shopping experiences

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and architecting cutting-edge products
• Implementing solutions that enhance core shopping experiences across Amazon
• Collaborating on projects involving large language models
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle
