Amazon Operations is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner to join their team in Mexico. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of Amazon's vast fulfillment network. The position involves managing asset and spares maintenance, preventative maintenance planning, and machine history data through CMMS software.

As the site's CMMS expert, you'll ensure smooth operations across Amazon's fulfillment centers, managing equipment maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and system optimization. You'll work within a dynamic environment that supports millions of customer deliveries daily.

The role combines technical expertise with strategic planning, requiring someone who can balance immediate maintenance needs with long-term operational efficiency. You'll collaborate with local and international teams, contributing to Amazon's global engineering standards while maintaining high equipment availability.

This position offers the opportunity to work with one of the world's most sophisticated logistics operations, using advanced maintenance management systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities For Maintenance Engineering Planner, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering - IntlRME

  • Be the site level SME on the CMMS software and train the local engineering team
  • Ensure system compliance with International RME standards
  • Manage equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels in the system
  • Plan and assign preventative maintenance to technicians
  • Compile equipment information and performance metrics
  • Manage spare parts stock levels and work with procurement

Requirements For Maintenance Engineering Planner, Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering - IntlRME

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 Years of experience planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities
  • 1 year of experience with Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software
  • Experience managing stores or spare parts inventories
  • Fluent Spanish and Advanced English (B2+)
